Editions - Prints

What are Editions?

Editions are artworks produced in a limited number. Owning one means you’re part of an exclusive group of collectors. Once a collection sells out, that specific item will never be produced again. However, new editions of the same artwork may appear in different variations - such as color, size, or finish.

How big are the editions?

Edition sizes vary, but most are limited to just 28 pieces. Owning one means you’re part of a small, select group. Why 28? I wanted the editions to feel intimate but still within reach. And in mathematics, 28 is known as a perfect number: its parts (1, 2, 4, 7, 14) add up exactly to itself. That sense of balance and harmony felt right.

What are AP’s?

If an edition includes one or more APs, it means there are “Artist Proofs” in addition to the numbered run. These proofs help me ensure each print meets the highest quality. I usually keep them for my archive, but occasionally I release one, hand-signed.

Where are the prints produced and printed?

Unless stated otherwise, my prints are produced through a Print-on-Demand service. This means your print is created especially for you - only once you place your order. I’ve spent considerable time selecting a partner who delivers exceptional quality, using premium materials and reliable production standards.

What materials are used?

Unless specified differently, my artworks are printed using Giclée printing - a fine art printing process that uses pigment-based inks and acid-free paper for museum-quality results. For most prints, I use Hahnemühle paper, which has been crafted for artists and graphic use since 1584. In short, I aim to provide prints that meet the highest archival standards.

Where are the prints shipped from?

For Print-on-Demand editions, there are currently three production locations:

  • London, UK – for customers in the UK and Europe
  • Düsseldorf, Germany – for customers in Europe
  • New York City, USA – for customers in the United States

Producing across multiple continents helps reduce shipping costs and avoid unnecessary taxes or tariffs.

How long does delivery take?

Because each print is made to order, delivery may take a little longer than standard online purchases. My partners do their best to ship your artwork as quickly as possible. The following timeframes are typical estimates:

How do I know which edition I received and that it’s real?

Unless stated otherwise, each print includes a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). Both the print and CoA are digitally signed and numbered. Prints produced directly by me are signed and numbered by hand.

How do I care for my print?

First, keep your Certificate of Authenticity in a safe place.
Handle your print carefully:

  • Frame it or store in the box
  • Keep it out of direct sunlight
  • Use clean hands or gloves when handling

What is the return policy for prints?

We don’t offer returns or exchanges, but if there’s an issue with your order, please contact us. Refunds are available for incorrect or damaged items. If this applies, send photos of the issue and we’ll make sure it’s resolved.
