Shouter vs Bert has found a home

After three years, Shouter vs Bert has been acquired and is now on display in its new home.

The painting was originally created for Big Art 2022 as part of a pair, alongside Shouter vs Ernie. Both works explore the meeting between the modern-day Shouter and familiar characters from childhood, combining bold scale with a sense of contrast and tension.

Large-scale paintings have a different rhythm. They take time to find the right place, but when they do, they become defining pieces within a space.
